Meal Preparation
Meals are prepared on the premises and are planned according to Canada's Food guidelines. Our child development centre aims to be a peanut free environment. Substitute meals are often available to meet the nutritional needs of children with food allergies. (Also, see our discussion about food allergies.)
- Weekly menus run on a six week rotation basis and are posted on the parent bulletin board two weeks in advance.
- A nutritious snack is served in the morning and in the afternoon.
- Lunchtime is a happy, social event. Parents may eat with their children with one day's notice.
